Fritillary Glaze

The most recent firing produced some unexpected spectacular results. The most intense Jun blue ever, some very subtle colours over a matt black glaze, and most surprising, a “fritillary” effect on one small bowl.

Ash-glazed tableware

Lately I have been developing a new range of “incised ” ash-glazed tableware. The fern patterns are cut through a thick iron slip into a dark clay body, glazed with either Jun or Celadon glazes.
