For the last two years, since my partner, Diana, died, I have not been making pottery. Instead, my artwork has been temporary. I’ve been drawing “mandalas” in the sand, between high and low tide marks on the beaches around Louisburgh, Co.Mayo. Many of these have now been compiled into a book, “The Mayo Mandalas” which will be launched in Books at One, Bridge Street, Louisburgh, on Saturday evening, May 30th, at 7.30pm. The speaker will be Tricia Hudson.
